Curious Refuge describes an AI filmmaking initiative with Google and Idris Elba’s Akuna Group, connecting education, mentorship, and a route to pitching work.
Curious Refuge says selected filmmakers from Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and South Africa can receive AI filmmaking education and mentorship through the initiative. Its announcement also describes an opportunity for graduates to pitch for Google-sponsored production funding while retaining ownership of their work.
